Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Aromas of dark fruits of the forest confit, underlaid with a subtle note of oak, black cherries, hints of nougat and tobacco. Full-bodied on the palate, notes of ripe plums, fine tannins, a juicy and fresh structure, pleasantly fruity on the finish, good length. A multi-faceted food wine, definite further ageing potential.
