The white wine Freinsheim Oschelskopf Auf dem vorderen Groß Riesling Spätlese trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Kassner-Simon has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
It has a herbal and spicy aroma on the nose, with stone fruit such as peach and apricot, along with raisin, and a hint of petrol. The structure is rather slender, the content is ripe, the acidity mild, and it has a mellowness and a slightly viscous character. It is a late harvest wine that deserves its name.
