The white wine »Lösslehm« Weissburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Kopp has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
It smells dark and savoury from the glass: fennel, liquorice, menthol, smoke, beeswax and lanolin, reminiscent of Chenin Blanc from the Loire. Shows enormous tension on the palate, sweetish mellowness and plenty of extract, yet light-hearted. Definitely decant.
