The red wine »R« Guntersblum Steig-Terrassen Syrah trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Lamberth has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Clear oak, pencil, blond caramel, sour cherry. A hint of black pepper. On the palate, the wine is still closed, impressing with a full-bodied density, well-integrated acidity and a structure full of certain ageing potential. Best advice, leave for three to five years!
