Tasting from 24.03.2021: Ulrich Sautter

Some linden blossom on the nose, with plum stone, stewed apple and roasted aromas. Develops smoothly on the palate with good substance, ripe fruit and some green nut over a mineral base. Shows texture and character, with good length.

Buttery and slightly yellow-fruity on the nose, savoury new wood in the background. Smooth on the palate, slightly viscous on the one hand, with lively acidity and rather medium extract richness on the other. Matured completely dry. Still slightly yeasty notes and noticeable alcoholic strength on the finish.
