Hay and yeast on the nose, slightly smoky undertones, flint. On the palate, the wine is pithy but also powerful, the freshness of the wine never slips into the banal or dropsy, slight green tones are accepted and help density and structure. A straightforward Pinot Blanc that will cut a fine figure with a hearty snack or freshwater fish.
