The red wine »Urgestein« Sankt Laurent trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Lergenmüller has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety St. Laurent from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Initially a cool, deep red nose of wild cherry, elderberry, cassis and dark chocolate. Forest berry, sweet raspberry, wild cherry follow on the palate with ripe tannin in a medium-bodied finish. Lively acidity as well as a smokey note lead into a rich finish.
