Tasting Notes

Tasting from 11.10.2016: Rainer Schäfer

The original from the world-famous vineyard smells of yellow fruit, apricot, also herbaceous notes, marigold, verbena. Rather restrained exotic and creamy fruit on the palate, passion fruit, papaya, not very juicy, mineral and dry, a little Darjeeling, slightly phenolic. Medium structure, the long and powerful acidity is lively and distinctive. A fine grapefruit note on the finish.
