Bright, rich cherry red with ruby reflections. Opens on the nose with a complex, savoury character of clove, thyme and some tobacco, dark wild berries on the nose. Very vertical on the palate, fine-meshed tannins, well-integrated use of oak, tapering tightly at the back, taut, plenty of length, full of tension.
