The red wine Machrima Reserve unfiltriert, vintage 2016 from the winery Sanfter Weinbau Maria und Hannes Söll has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Aglianico from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Fine dark berry confit, a hint of ripe plums, candied orange zest, subtle herbal savouriness in the background. Juicy, ripe blackberries, fine tannins, fresh acidity, dark cherries, mineral and persistent, already accessible.
