The white wine »GG« Wehlen Sonnenuhr Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Markus Fries has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Characterised by spontaneous fermentation, ripe and fruity, apricot, but also dried orange peel and vineyard peach. What suppleness on the palate! Almost oily, with rather mild acidity, vivid, slightly dry phenolics, pronounced alcohol, with a round, sweet character like a plush sofa.
