The white wine »Halbfuder« Riesling im Eichenfass gereift trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Mayerle has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Fine wood savouriness accompanies ripe yellow fruit, mirabelle plum, peach and also apricot, a hint of banana peel. Taut on the palate with a firm structure, quite elegant with a soft texture and finely chiseled acidity, fine citrus, juicy mineral finish.
