The white wine »Grande Reserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Metzger has been rated in 2016 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Buttered toast, shortbread and butterscotch with restrained fruit, candied and dried fruit and slightly smoky notes. On the palate, a Chardonnay with New World stylistics in a somewhat over-scented finish. Less would sometimes be more.
