The red wine Asselheim Schloß Merlot trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Michael Triebel has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Warm aromas, ripe, even cooked fruit, cherry, plum and redcurrant, smoke and vanilla. An attractive Merlot for its price with 14 per cent alcohol by volume in the Schlegel bottle, it manages to balance out even supposed contradictions with its strength and warmth.
