The red wine Merlot trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Mugler has been rated in 2018 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The first single-varietal Merlot that the winery has produced. Floral aromas on the nose, somewhat tart and green, paprika, elderberry and black cherry. Well and tightly structured on the palate, the tannins are prominent and not yet fully balanced, still needs time, good certain ageing potential.
