The red wine »Alegria« Frühburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Paul Schumacher has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Frühburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Very ripe dark berries - blackberries, elderberries and mulberries in particular - on the nose. In the mouth, the wine has fine-grained tannins, a powerful tactile minerality and lots of juice and nerve. Overall the fullness is not overpowering, leaving with a finish that's long and full of fruit.
