The red wine Südtiroler Lagrein Riserva DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Pfitscher has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Very rich ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Spicy nose with a hint of rosemary and pepper, then dark forest berries and some dark chocolate on the second nose. Very juicy on the palate with great freshness and elegant creaminess at the same time, builds beautifully and finishes long.
