The white wine Weinviertel DAC Reserve, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Pleil has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
Medium yellow-green. Delicately smoky, yellow apple fruit underlaid with candied orange zest, a hint of ripe pears, underlaid with herbal spice. Medium complexity, delicate caramel texture, ripe yellow fruit, mineral finish, already easy to drink, nougat in the aftertaste.
