The red wine Pinot Noir Reserve, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauburgunder from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Deep ruby with purple reflections and a subtle ochre lightening on the rim. Delicate floral notes underlay the aromas of red berry, fresh cherry, a hint of tangerine zest and a mineral touch. The palate is taut, with delicate toasty aromas, fresh cherry, well-integrated supporting tannins, a hint of clove, good length and definite ageing potential.
