Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Dark forest berries, some roasted aromas, a hint of nougat, subtle caramel notes, a hint of Christmas stollen. Complex, tightly meshed, velvety tannins, multi-layered, with oak savouriness in the background, balanced, blackberry notes on the finish, sure and certain ageing potential.
