The white wine Weinviertel DAC Reserve Hommage, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut R&A Pfaffl has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
Bright golden yellow colour. Nuances of Golden apples underpinned with delicate herbal savouriness, hints of passion fruit, dark minerality, some lemongrass. Juicy, elegant, complex acidity, subtle nuances of citrus fruits on the finish, white tropical fruit notes in the aftertaste, lingers long, great ageing potential, a beautiful food wine.
