Deep ruby, opaque core, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Still a little restrained with hints of tobacco, black cherries, underlaid with blackberries, fresh plums, and a whiff of herbs. Powerful, complex, dark sweetheart cherries, freshly structured, flanked by tannins followed by mineral reverberations. Still young, shows length. Good ageing potential.
