Redcurrant, almond, strawberry and some caramel from the wood. Herbal notes are also recognisable. On the palate, the wine has a dazzling Mosel character: fine tannins, fresh fruit and a juicy acidity work together to create a palatable flavour with much appeal. Great length. A very fine, individual facet of the variety.
