The white wine »Edition Johanniskreuz« Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Sankt Annaberg has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A restrained use of wood, an aroma that is more floral than fruity. On the palate the wine is characterised by pithiness, phenolics and acidity dominate the medium-bodied but dense palate, mineral tones lead into the finish, in which the fruitiness is also revealed. Needs time.
