The red wine N°1, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Sattler has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of lovely nougat, liquorice, hints of ripe blackberry, and candied orange zest, it is an inviting bouquet. On the palate it is complex, elegant, with well-integrated tannins, some minerality, persistence, and sweet fruit and ripe fig notes on the finish. It has good ageing potential.
