The white wine Morillon Hochegg, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Schauer has been rated in 2015 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Light greenish yellow. Yellow tropical fruit notes are underlaid by woody spice, hints of tobacco and garden herbs, as well as a dark minerality. Juicy, complex and slightly sweet on the palate, it's got some style thanks to a tightly meshed fruit core. Very good ageing potential.
