The white wine »Greif« Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Schmachtenberger has been rated in 2017 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
The use of wood with its peculiar spiciness is reminiscent of sauna and spruce needles, which hang like thick cumulus clouds over the radiant fruit: Peach, yellow, plump pears and vanilla. The attack is full of extract, juice and a tart finish.
