There are fresh sour cherry aroma notes, underlaid with clove, as well as discreet pepper, a hint of black fruit, and a tobacco-like character. It has a medium complexity, with fine acidity, some minerality, well-integrated tannins, a nice juiciness, and a salty toasty oaky savouriness on the finish, and red berry confit on the back palate. It is a good food wine.
