The nose emphasises herbaceous-spicy notes of thyme and sage, as well as ripe pear, ground rock and some delicate smoke - a multilayered combination. On the palate there's silky texture and some fine phenolics, giving a sense of density and nobility with perfectly balanced acidity. Excellent structure and length, Silvaner on show.
