The red wine »Reserve« Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Stauffer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 86 - 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
This has a typical nose of Cabernet Sauvignon, with tomato, and bell pepper, as well as oaky spiciness. It has been immaculately vinified, and on the palate there is cassis and nice juiciness, as well as spicy toasty notes. On the one hand it is a little greenish in the tannins, but it also has some sweetness in a compact structure.
