Dark fruit fragrance, blackcurrant, black pepper, undergrowth, tree bark. Perfectly ripe on the palate, even a touch of mulberry followed by density, elegance, a herbal touch, and vivid, but elegantly retained tannins. Varietal aromas in the style of a ripe Loire example.
