The red wine »Dickhäuter« trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Sterneisen has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Merlot, Zweigelt
On the nose: blackcurrant, dark chocolate, bitter herbs, leather. The wine has a robust stature on the palate: a dense but not overly alcoholic structure, grainy but mellow tannins, well-integrated, firm acidity and a juicy finish. Lingers for a long time and will be a great food companion in a few years, for example with lamb.
