The white wine »Excellence« Frühburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Thüringer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points.
Cooked dark berries on the nose, a touch of malt. On the palate, the wine develops some power, the fine-grained, slightly lasting tannins are creamy and packed, the rather restrained acidity allows the wine to have a round and harmonious finish, with rather medium weight fruit.
