The white wine Forst Kirchenstück Riesling GG, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Grapefruit, wet stone and a touch of peach on the nose, but overall still quite closed. On the palate almost a monolithic block, core and tension, mineral, tight acidity (but not rough), viscous layers of extract in the background. All the elements are still very introverted, but this is built for the long-term.
