Deep, dark ruby-garnet; opaque core; violet highlights. On the nose, dark berry fruit underpinned by smoky and spicy notes, subtle toasted aromas, and a delicate hint of rum-soaked fruit. Full-bodied, complex, with an elegant texture; pronounced tannins that still need a little time to develop; lingers well on the palate, with blackberry jam and nougat in the finish.
