The red wine Portugieser im Barrique gereift, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Wick has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Plum, plum stone, wild cherry, sweet fruit in the mouth, sandy tannin in medium quantity, mild, round mid-palate, clearly chalky mineral base, finely savoury and at the same time wild-fruity finish. A very individual, multi-layered Portuguese style.
