Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. On the nose, a delicately tobacco-like aroma, animalistic, underpinned by black berry fruit, nuances of cassis and liquorice, and fine herbal spice. The palate is juicy, with medium complexity, a touch of blackberry fruit, fine tannins, mineral and fresh, lemony with delicate nougat on the finish, versatile.
