It has a deep garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There are delicate aroma notes of prune, a hint of fig, some nougat, and candied orange zest. It is juicy and powerful, with ripe plum, firm tannins, salty nuances on the finish, and a chocolaty aftertaste. It has certain further ageing potential.
