The white wine Westhofener Kirchspiel, vintage 2010 from the winery Weingut Wittmann has been rated in 2011 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Pale yellow-green. Initially somewhat restrained bouquet, very fine stone fruit notes, a hint of grapefruit and yellow tropical fruit, delicate but multi-faceted bouquet. Taut, medium-bodied, very good balance of fresh white fruit and crisp acidity, appears light-footed and animating to drink, fine notes of lemon and white apple in the finish, lingering, secure future.
