The white wine Chardonnay Réserve, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Wittmann has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The measured lemon yellow colour corresponds with the initially subtle yet elegant aroma of yellow peach, lychee and kiwi, passionfruit as well as a floral note in the glass. Rather dense on the palate with good acidity, pleasant minerality and a light vanilla note. Complex and yet not complicated. An exciting wine from the house of Wittmann.
