The white wine Weisser Burgunder Réserve trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Wittmann has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Subtly roasted wood, hay, rosehip, tomato green, then also white flowers and caramel. The palate is finely balanced, with cultivated phenols and ripe acidity meeting a firm chalky-mineral component. Typical Burgundy soft motifs are not missing, but remain limited to the right degree. Very stylish!
