The aroma is intense and complex, mixing herbal, spicy and balsamic tones with aromas of black pepper and dark berry fruit. The palate flows smoothly and indeed "calmly", a full dose of very fine tannin carries the structure, extract sweetness is enhanced by plump fruit, a fine thread of acidity and delicate mineral tones create balance. Very long - and what finesse!
