The white wine Dalsheim Steig Chardonnay Barrique trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Zink – Die Weinschmiede has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 - 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Despite barrique barrel ageing, the wine shows a lot of carbonic acid in the glass, which transports the aromatic spectrum to the surface. Here you can smell: banana, acacia flowers, hawthorn and honey aromas. On the palate, clear opulence with pronounced barrique notes and broad fruit spectrum. Very long on the palate.
