The red wine »Edition Premium Cuvée Wachtenburg« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Wachtenburg Winzer eG has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Mitos, Lemberger, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose there is blackcurrant, vanilla cream and prune. On the palate it shows a fine yet also vivid tannin, the round flow has a well integrated acidity accompaniment, a hint of sweetness supports the palate fruit, the wine finishes juicy and with good length.
