The red wine Zweigelt Reserve Kellermeister Privat Zwei Jahre im Eichenfass gereift, vintage 2011 from the winery Winzer Krems – Sandgrube 13 has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Kremstal in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Dark forest berry confit, notes of blackberries and spices, a hint of nougat. Complex, black berries again, round and harmonious, well-integrated wood support, sticks well, chocolaty notes on the finish, shows good length, ripe cherries and plums in the aftertaste, a serious food companion with further ageing potential.
