The nose has dried cranberries, raspberries and a little air-dried ham on show. On the palate, the typical Ahr slate savouriness makes this Pinot Noir very elegant indeed. There's some very fine tannins accompanied by strength and a middling acidity, making for a wine with substance and certain ageing potential.
