The white wine Chardonnay, vintage 2005 from the winery Winzerhof Julius Steiner has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Pale yellow-green. Delicate green-leafy, spicy apple aromas on the nose, a hint of citrus zest. Notes of gooseberries and grapefruit on the palate, aromatically more reminiscent of Sauvignon, as some Morillons do, fresh acid structure, drinkable style, lemony and slightly grassy in the aftertaste.
