Tasting Notes
On the nose, notes of almond, strawberry and sweet cherry, with a delicate herbal savouriness. Juicy on the palate, restrained extraction, a little less fruit on the mid-palate, a slight bitter note, soft (made?) acidity, lacks complexity, high yield.
More about the tastingThe nose is still dominated by the barrique ageing, smoky notes, red fruit, raspberry and cherry, herbal notes such as sage. On the palate, a medium-bodied wine with a ripe and fine vein of acidity builds up, quite elegant, with good freshness, sensitively extracted. A rather cool style.
More about the tastingAlmond and strawberry confit, medium-bodied on the palate, sandy tannins, supple background, good proportion, a light Pinot Noir with medium length and quite a nice finish.
