The red wine Effe Emme Sicilia DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Zisola has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich ruby with a fine purple shimmer. Intense nose of dark currant, liquorice, leather and some chocolate. Unfortunately quite rough and unfinished on the palate, brittle, poorly integrated tannins, still needs a lot of time.
