"Barrier-free" Bars in Basel
A self-confident classic in Basel for years. In the imposing ambience of a former machine factory, Werk 8 offers 700 square metres of restaurant, bar and event location. The warm hosts provide guests with excellent cocktails, outstanding wines and soul food with attitude.
Campari may be drunk everywhere, but the flair of the Campari Bar can only be experienced here. People like to meet for an aperitif under the chestnut trees on the terrace or in the elegant dining room. In addition to Campari, there are classic cocktails, long drinks, beer and wine. Perfect for relaxed moments in the heart of the city.
The Basso bar serves regional drinks with character. Homemade syrups, liqueurs, Swiss wines, or the seasonal Basso Spritz. The bar combines restaurant and club. Snacks or evening meals are served in a relaxed atmosphere at the bar, and at weekends it becomes part of the club, right by the sound and in the centre of the action.
In the Turm des kHauses the Amber Bar welcomes you with warm art deco charm and a playful golden interior. The team behind the project is the Grenzwert cocktail bar. The roof terrace offers a unique panoramic view over Basel. Cocktails, wines, beers and fine bar food are often accompanied by live music.
Following the takeover by Roger Greiner, the Zum Kuss bar has a fresh and charming new look. Now open daily, the café bar entices guests with coffee, homemade iced tea, aperitif platters, fine snacks and drinks. In the evening, creative cocktails, selected wines and a cosy ambience with a view of the Elisabethenpärkli await.
