"Barrier-free" Bars in Basel

Pascal Kunz and Daniel Mumenthaler are old hands in the bar scene. Their quality standards are reflected on the full menu and in the cocktail glass. With almost a thousand spirits, an impressive selection of whisk(e)y and a talented team behind them, the two have created a stylish oasis of pleasure.
The city's hippest Campari bar scores with elegance and nonchalance. Here you can meet in the shaded garden or at the bar in a stylish ambience for a long drink, a glass of wine or an espresso standing up. In addition to the interior, the location between the theatre and the Kunsthalle is also iconic.
Conto 4056 brings Mediterranean flair to St. Johann. Antipasti platters that can be put together individually, fresh focaccia and a remarkable selection of wines by the glass make the bar on Voltaplatz a meeting place that transports guests to Bella Italia for a few hours.
Zum Kuss in Elisabethenpark is atmospherically housed in a white barrel vault - and impresses with a resourceful gastronomic offer that pampers guests from morning to night with coffee specialities, high-quality drinks and great wines; in addition to the "Kussplättli", there are other delicacies.
The Imi Bar in the Volkshaus is named after the German artist Imi Knoebel, who designed the glass windows in the Imi Bar and thus created a work of art of the world. The bar menu is cleverly put together and offers local cocktails as well as weekly specials and fine signature dishes for the small appetite.
The quarter near Basel's Dreispitz offers a colourful potpourri of cultural events in various genres - poetry slam, comedy, day dance, concerts and much more. In summer, the Viertel roof becomes a cozy open-air oasis of enjoyment with drinks and food, before you can party and listen to live acts in the associated club.
